Deleting Scan Files
You can delete all scan files stored in the file folders on the controller,
including scan jobs that are still being processed, in order to free disk
space on the controller hard disk.
If you delete scan files, you must reboot
the controller.
This procedure may take several minutes.

Log in as an administrator.

On the Administration tab, click the Maintenance submenu.

Click the
Delete Files
link to open the Delete Files page.
The file folders set up in the controller include the
Data Processing
Folder
for current jobs data, the
Shared File Folder
for
Send to File
data,
and the
TWAIN Data Folder
for
Send to TWAIN
data.

To delete files in a specified folder, check the box adjacent the folder
name. To delete all the file folders, click the
Check all
heading.

Click the
Delete
button.
Warning! When you delete the Data Processing folder containing the
current jobs data, the jobs log and message log are deleted with it
automatically.

A confirmation message appears. Click
Yes
to proceed or
Cancel
to
leave the folders unchanged. The Reboot page opens and the
controller reboots. After rebooting, the folders are deleted.
Downloading Scan Files
Use the Download Scan Files page to download scanned files to your local
workstation.

Click the plus sign (+) beside the folder icons to open the folder(s).

Find the file you want to download, then click the filename. The
browser’s file download dialog box opens.

Click
Save
.

Select the folder where you want to store the file.

Save
.
