Using Model 5390 Security
Integrating SecurID into ACP
Integrating the ACE/Server software into ACP requires changes to the erpcd utility. The following
instructions assume that the ACE/Server software is installed in a directory called /usr/ace and the
Annex software is installed in /usr/annex; if your code is installed in different directories, substitute
the appropriate pathnames where applicable.
1
As a superuser, change to the /usr/annex/src directory:
# cd /usr/annex/src
2
Create a directory called sdclient:
# mkdir sdclient
3
Copy the required header files and libraries from the
ACE/Server directories:
If you have ACE/Server Release 1.1:
# cp /usr/ace/sdclient.a sdclient
# cp /usr/ace/sdconf.o sdclient
# cp /usr/ace/<your_host_type>/*.h sdclient
If you have ACE/Server Release 1.2:
# cp /usr/ace/sdiclient.a sdiclient
# cp /usr/ace/<your_host_type>/*.h sdiclient
4
Edit the erpcd/Makefile file:
NOTE:
These instructions assume that the software is installed on a
UNIX system and that the host tools have been compiled (as opposed to
using the binaries from the Annex software distribution tape). Also, the
target UNIX system requires a development environment (C compiler,
libraries, etc.). Make sure the host clock is set correctly.
NOTE:
This sequence requires that these files are installed on the
slave/client system from the ACE/Server host.
NOTE:
Make sure the /var/ace/sdconf.rec file is installed on the system
that is running erpcd.
