Internet Protocol (IP) Routing
Enabling and Disabling Passive RIP
The Model 5390 parameter routed must be set to Y (the default) to enable any type of routing other
than static routes. Use na, admin, or SNMP to make sure the setting has not been changed to N. If
it has been changed, reset it to Y, and reboot the Model 5390 server (the following example uses
admin):

You may need to reset the appropriate port, Annex
subsystem or reboot the Annex for changes to take
effect

rip_sub_accept
Controls whether or not subnet routes are accepted in
updates.
rip_sub_advertise
Controls whether or not RIP advertises subnets.
Available with active RIP only.
