PISTON, PISTON RINGS, CONNECTING RODS AND CYLINDERS

REMOVAL

1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Drain engine oil.
3) Drain coolant.
4) Remove cylinder heads.

Refer to item “VALVES AND CYLINDER HEADS” in this section
for removal.

5) Remove oil pump.

Refer to item “OIL PUMP” in this section for removal.
