Is check result satisfactory?

faulty ECM (PCM).
Check for intermittent
referring to “Intermit
tent and Poor Connec-
tion” in Section 0A.

Go to Step 3.

Check EVAP canister purge valve for resistance
referring to “EVAP Canister Purge Valve Inspection”.
Is resistance as specified?

“G / B” or “Bl / B” circuit
open or short.
If wire and connec-
tions are OK, substi-
tute a known-good
ECM (PCM) and
recheck.
