The other sensors which also belong to function block “Boiler sequence manager“, such 
as the return sensor for the common maintained boiler return temperature, or the return 
sensor for the consumers, are monitored for short-circuit and open-circuit.

Function block “Boiler sequence manager“ collects the heat demand from all consum-
ers (heating circuit, DHW heating and primary controller), the external inputs and the 
manual setpoint preselection. These setpoints are used to generate the maximum 
value.

On the controller, 1 analog and a maximum of 3 digital inputs can be configured as heat
