Home Screen Features

Selecting New Item will bring up the Item Maintenance screen for this new

item. Here you will be able to assign a name, price, and department for the new
item. Within the Item Maintenance screen are many different options that may
help you and your business that will be covered more in depth in the Admin Fea-
tures chapter, section 7.5. To quickly create a new item, the only requirements are
that it has a name, a department, and a category. It will automatically fill in the cat-
egory name of the one you were in when you began creating the item. Don’t forget
to include a price for your new item.
