Company Settings - Customer
This section primarily controls the loyalty system in Paradise if you choose to uti-
lize it. The Guided Loyalty box, when enabled, will force a prompt on the pay screen
that asks the person checking a customer out if they are a loyalty customer and will
walk them through either assigning the ticket to the customer so they can gain points or
guide them through creating a new customer.
Below this, the system gives you the ability to pre-auth customer cards. This is
used for bar tabs and allows customers to keep a card on file when they come to your
establishment. Keep in mind that holding card information on customer accounts only
works on specific terminals and if you don’t have one of these, this option won’t work
for you.
If you would like to set up a Loyalty program, you will have to assign a Dollar
Per Point amount. These are the points a customer earns for shopping with you. Every
time they spend the amount you specify here, they will earn 1 point.
Below you can set reward levels. This sets how many points a customer must reach
before they can earn a reward and what dollar amount that reward is. You can set mul-
tiple reward levels to incentivize customers to spend more in your store before cashing
out their points to either a gift card or to a future transaction.
Shown below is an example of a commonly used reward value. This shows that for
every ten dollars a customer spends they earn a point and for every ten points a custom-
er gets they receive a reward of five dollars. That means the customer spent at least one
hundred dollars to receive a five dollar reward.
