Company Settings - Email & Network
Most of this section will have been set up for you. The emailing information
at the top has been set up so you have the ability to email receipts to customers.
If you have a SendInBlue account, it can be integrated here as long as you have the
API Key from SendInBlue.
You’ll notice that there are more settings checked for you in the middle of
the page. Use WiFi Warnings, when checked, will enable a warning message to
appear when you are not on the WiFi specified on WiFi SSID. This can be incred-
ibly useful since, for your system to communicate with all of your equipment, it
must always be on the correct WiFi. The WiFi Poll Interval will set how much time
is between each warning, which is set by default to 15.
A cloud warning is a little bit different. This is going to alert you when the
WiFi goes out and they system is unable to communicate with the cloud. The
Cloud Poll Interval will set how much time is between each cloud warning. A cloud
warning is going to prompt you to move your system into Local Mode. Please see
the troubleshooting chapter for more information on how to switch between On-
line Mode and Local Mode correctly.
Company Settings - Checks
This section only affects whether your business allows customers to write
checks for a higher amount than what is owed on the ticket. If you would like to
enable this option, select the checkbox. To use this, simply run a payment as you
would normally. On the payment screen, type in the amount the customer would
like to write the check out for. Then select check and this will prompt you to take
money out of the drawer to hand to the customer as change.
