9.5 USB Receipt Printer Not Printing
If your USB Receipt Printer isn’t working, first ensure that the cord from the
iPad (must be an Apple charging cord, not off-brand) is connected to both the iPad
and the printer. This connection both charges the iPad through the printer and al-
lows the iPad to ‘speak’ to the printer.
Next, make sure the printer is turned on. There is a blue indication light on
the front when it is turned on. If the printer is on, open the paper tray and ensure
that there are no paper jams and that the paper is inserted according to the direc-
tions in the printer. Close the paper tray and press the feed button to ensure that
the paper feeds through properly.
If the printer still isn’t working after these steps, someone may have changed
the settings in the Paradise application. In the Paradise app, go to Admin -> Device
Maintenance and select This Device, highlighted in yellow on the left. Make sure
the correct printer is still selected as the Receipt Printer.
If set, go to Admin -> Printer Maintenance and select the printer on the left.
Check to make sure the settings are similar to the picture below.
