8.2 Short Tutorials

 

This section will go over how to do common procedures in the Paradise sys-

tem. These include opening and closing a cash drawer, along with tipping out em-
ployees and creating House Accounts and a Loyalty system.

8.2.1 Opening a Cash Drawer

1.  There are two ways to open a cash drawer with starting cash. If you are the first per-

son clocking-in on a station that has a drawer, the system will prompt you by asking if 
you would like to open a drawer.

2.  After selecting ‘Yes’, a prompt will appear, allowing you to count your drawer’s start-

ing cash. The drawer requires you to enter your total cash by denomination. For ex-
ample, if you have $100 in twenty-dollar bills, you’d select the blank below $20 and 
type 5, since you have five twenty-dollar bills.
