5.12 Pending Transfers
The Pending Transfers button is useful when you would like employees to
have to accept transferred tickets before they will completely transfer. This ensures
that employees aren’t transferring tickets to other employees without permission
or without the receiving employee knowing about the ticket.
To set up the system to require approval for transferred tickets, go to Admin
-> Company Settings -> Employee and make sure the Ticket Transfer Needs Approv-
al box is checked. Once this is done, every time an employee attempts to transfer
a ticket to a different employee, the receiving employee will be notified. Managers
can keep track of tickets that are pending approval by checking the Pending Trans-
fers button and can change which employee the pending tickets are assigned to.
