Performing Detailed Editing on the Timeline Palette
When you start playback of a sequence, the position bar (a vertical red line) moves
from left to right on the Timeline Palette. This bar indicates the frame now seen, and
also serves as a reference point when you’re editing.
Let’s learn how to move it freely.
Dragging with the Mouse
You can move the position bar by dragging its square head with the mouse.
Moving Using the Buttons at the Bottom of the Sequence
Monitor
You use these when you want to move to the first or last frame in a sequence, or to
move and examine one frame at a time. When the DV-7DLC is connected, you can
also carry out the same operations by pressing the buttons on the DV-7DLC instead
of clicking with the mouse.
