From the Material menu, select “

Sort.” From the list that appears, choose how you

want to arrange objects in the Material palette.

If you have typed in the tape number (or other-info) in the notes for the material,

select “Memo.” The order in which the material is arranged in the Material palette

changes, and the pieces of material are now arranged in numerical order.

Change the way material is arranged to find what you’re looking for.
