Performing Detailed Editing on the Timeline Palette

Select tracks, making them change color.

Select the tracks in the passage you want to specify by clicking the Track Selector for

the tracks. The color of the selected tracks turns red from the Choose point to the Out

point.

The DV-7DL PRO, you can select all tracks in a single step. Clicking the “ALL”

button makes the passage from the In point to the Out point turn red for all tracks.

Clicking the “ALL” button a second time cancels the selection of all tracks, and they

return to their original color.

Delete and pack toward the beginning.

Click the “Delete” button. All tracks are packed (shifted) toward the beginning. The

length of the sequence is shortened. Before you click the Delete button, make sure

there is no material you need in the red area. You can restore the state in effect before

this deletion by clicking the “Undo” button.
