Editing Title

 

Similar to video, you can take titles from the Material palette and arrange them on 

 

the Timeline Palette's Title tracks. Placing a title at a time that the coincides with a 

 

video clip inserts the title into that clip. 

 

You can edit titles only on the Timeline Palette. For information on the basic 

 

operations you can do on the Timeline Palette, refer to 

 

Basic Operation of Timeline

Display the Title Palette. 

 

Go to the Material palette and Click the 

 

"Title" tab. The Title Palette appears, 

 

allowing you to view the title you have created.

On the Title Palette, the transparent areas of the title are shown in black.

Place the title on a Title track. 

 

Drag the title to a Title track. The title is placed on the Title track. Placing the title 

 

directly on top of the video material where you want to insert it inserts the title into 

 

the video material. 

 

A black line is displayed on the left side of the material. Add the material after the 

 

material placed before the black line.

The title appears whether you place it on Title Track 1 or on Title Track 2. 

 

Inserting Titles into a Sequence

Placing a very large number of titles may make the operation of the DV-7DL PRO 
sluggish, resulting in slow display times or other effects, even when the title memory 
is not full. To ensure comfortable operation, it’s a good idea to limit your project to 
no more than 200 titles.
