Editing Audio

In audio-based editing, you don’t just play back and listen to audio, you also make

use of the “audio waveforms” displayed in the Audio tracks. The pattern of a

waveform is tall at places where the volume level is high which makes it possible to

check cut lines visually. Going to the Track Selector at the left edge of the Audio track

and clicking the “+” button expands the view of the Audio track. After expansion,

this changes to a “-” button. Clicking the “-” button returns the view to its original

size.
