Name and Functions of Editing Screen Features

The explanations in this manual include illustrations that depict what should typically be

shown by the display. Note, however, that your unit may incorporate a newer, enhanced

Track Slider

Shifts the displayed area of the tracks
to the left or right.

Editing Window

Used to arrange and edit captured
material.

Disk Remaining Indicator

Shows the amount of remaining free
space on the hard disk.

Material Palette

Holds various types of material.

Tool Opener

These access frequently used tools
(windows).

Effect Palette

Displays the icons for various effects,
arranged by category.

Edit Buttons

These are buttons that are needed for
editing.

Zoom Buttons

These expand or reduce the view
in the editing window.

Edit Mode Buttons

These set how editing is performed.
