Performing Detailed Editing on the Timeline Palette
Increasing the Number of A/B Roll Points
To increase the number of A/B roll points, hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard
and click the location you want in the A/B Roll Control track. An A/B roll point is
created at the location you clicked.
You can increase the number of A/B roll points by using the A/B Roll Tool. In this
case, move the position bar to the location where you want to add an A/B roll point,
then go to the A/B Roll Tool and click "Add Point."
Smoothing the A/B Roll Points
You can smooth out the form of the A/B roll operation line by adjusting the A/B roll
points automatically.

Set and In point and an Out point on the Timeline Palette to specify the range.
Follow the steps in "Setting In Points and Out Points in a Sequence" ( p. 282 ) to specify
the range where you want to smooth the form of the A/B roll operation line.
* You can also select and delete a number of A/B roll points by dragging the A/B Roll track.

Click the "Smooth Passage Line" button.
The A/B roll line of the A/B roll points in the range you specified moves, making
the line smoother.
* Using this feature may produce an A/B roll line having an unintended form.
