Effects

There are four types of effects: “Transition FX,” “Filter FX,” “Composition FX”

(compositing effects), and “Audio FX.”.

Transition effects modify the change (transition) from one piece of material on the

Main Video track to an adjacent piece of material.

For example, you can connect two unrelated video scenes by applying a transition

effect (Transition FX) at the "seam" (juncture) between the two scenes.

Select “Transition FX” on Effect palette

Click the area on the Effect palette shown in the figure, move the pointer to

Transition FX, then click. The Transition FX icon appears.
