Creating Titles
Now let’s try deleting typed-in text and shapes.

Select the text or shape.
Click the text string or shape you want to delete. The object is enclosed in dotted
lines.
* If you cannot easily select the text because it is under other text or shapes, refer to
How to
Select Overlapping Shapes (p. 187) .

Delete the text or shape.
Click the “Delete Selected Object” button.
The selected text is deleted.
Clicking the “Undo” button immediately after deleting restores the object.
Delete all on-screen text and shapes.
You can delete all text and shapes (objects) at one time by holding down the “Shift”
key on the keyboard and clicking the “Delete Selected Object” button. A prompt
asking if you want to delete everything appears. To go ahead and delete all objects,
click “OK.” All text and shapes on the screen are deleted.
* Note that you cannot undo this operation.
