Creating Titles

Creating Horizontally Long Crawling Titles

To create long crawling titles that do not fit in a single screen, increase the value for

"Page" to make the crawling title longer.

To increase the value for "Page," go to the upper left of the Titler screen, click "Page,"

and increase the number. Increasing the number of pages makes a scroll bar appear

along the right side of the Preview window. To view and check pages to the left or

right, drag the scroll bar.

The page you are now editing is also displayed at the upper right of the Preview

window (as "P-1," "P-2," etc.).

Arranging text, shapes, or pictures for a crawling title so that they extend beyond the page

makes the value of the "Page" setting increase automatically.

Increasing the value for "Page" also makes the length of the title grow. Please be aware that

when you double-click and edit a title placed on the Timeline Palette, changing the length of

the title by increasing the value for "Page" causes any titles that come after the edited title to

become displaced.

"Crawling Title [->]" makes the title flow from right to left, so the next page is created to the

right. Conversely, "Crawling Title [<-]" makes the title flow from left to right, so the next

page is created to the left.
