Creating Material

Setting the Background Color Using the Color Palette

You can set a fill color for outside the image. Click the Color Select button to display

the "Color Palette" window. For information about how to use the Color Palette, refer

Getting the Background Color from an Area of an Image

You can get the fill color for outside the image from the image itself. Clicking the

"Dropper" button makes the shape of the pointer change to a dropper (

). With the

dropper, click the area of desired color for use as a new background color.

Changing the Aspect Ratio

This sets the aspect ratio for the video material you create.

"4:3 SDTV":

This is the setting you normally use.

"16:9 Squeezed":

This lets you create video material compatible with 16:9 wide-screen

format. The vertical size of the Preview window is reduced to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
