Creating Titles

You can import graphics stored on a CD-ROM or still pictures taken with a digital

still camera and use them as material for titles. To import, you use one of the three

buttons described below. Use the one that matches the task you want to accomplish.

Display the Titler.

Click the “Titler” button. The Titler appears.

Click the external-import button.

Click the button that corresponds to the task. The window to select a picture file

appears.

Load the media.

If you’re importing from a CD-ROM, place the CD-ROM in the tray at the front of

the DV-7DL PRO. If you are importing from a card for a digital still camera, insert

the card into the card reader.

Find the still picture to import.

When the media is recognized, its name appears in the “Name” area. Double-click

to open folders. Find the still picture you want to import. For an image file, clicking

the name to select the file displays the image at the upper right. Large images may

take some time to appear. To go back to a parent folder, go to the middle of the

window and click “Folder.” When the list appears, select the folder you want to

open.
