Creating Titles

Set the color level of the topmost object to "O" (zero).

If no edges or shadows are applied to the text string, it becomes invisible in the

window.

For information about color levels, refer to

Adjust the level of the objects.

(p. 159)

Click the Warp button.

Go to the upper right of the Titler window and click the "Warp" button. A "hole" in

the shape of the selected object appears in the object underneath.

You can create see-through holes with edges and shadows as well by setting the level to zero.

Click the "Preview Output" button.

Click the "Preview Output" button. The transparent text appears in the Titler's

Preview window and on the television monitor.

When you superimpose another object over an object that you have made see-through, the new

object does not become transparent.

Setting the level to a value from 1 to 99 in step 3 creates a translucent “see-through” hole.
