Effects

Audio effects are applied directly to individual pieces of audio material. They

include effects that adjust the sonic image, add acoustic pressure, and apply echo or

delay. You apply them by dragging effect icons from the Effect palette to audio

material placed on Audio tracks.

Change the display in the Effect palette.

In the Effect palette, click the drop-down button, then select “Audio FX.”

Drag the effect icon.

From the vertical row of effect icons, select the effect you want to apply and drag it

to audio material on an Audio track

Start playback.

All audio effects can be played back in real time. Let’s play it back to check the

amount of effect that was applied.
