Editing Video

Using the Storyboard Palette makes it easy to perform editing. This is convenient

when you are deciding on the overall structure of a sequence.

Editing Palette Selection Tabs

These change the editing mode (

p. 69

Video Material Box

This box is for placing video material. You can drag

video material here from the Video Palette (p. 70).

Transition FX Box

This box is for placing Transition FX (transition

effects). You can drag transition effects here from
the Effect window (p. 75).

Move Cut Point Buttons

These select the video material either before or

after the currently selected video material.

Copy Button

This copies or pastes the selected video material

(p. 73).

Redo Button

This lets you redo an incorrect operation. It also lets

you restore an operation back to its previous state
(p. 67).

Audio Level Meter

This displays the volume level at the playback

location.

Time Code

This displays the time code at the playback

location.

Sequence Time

This displays the length (duration) of the overall

sequence.
