Creating Titles

You can create a background based on video in the Timeline Palette. The video that

becomes the background is the video that you can preview on the Sequence Monitor

when the Timeline Palette is displayed. This becomes a single background image

that also includes any material on the Insert Video track and Title tracks.

Choose the frame to use as the background.

If the Titler is displayed, click the “Close” button to close it. Move the position bar to

the location you want on the Timeline Palette and choose the picture you want for

make the background.

Display the Titler.

Click the “Titler” button to display the Titler.

Click the “Convert Timeline Image into Background” button.

The “B.G.” (background) button lights up green, and the Timeline image is pasted in

as the background.

When

“B.G.” (background) button

is lit in green and the background is displayed, clicking

“B.G.” button

makes the background disappear and

“B.G.” button

go dark.

When you want to reuse this background, hold down the "Shift" key and click the "Convert

Timeline Image to Background" button. The current Timeline video is captured on the
