Performing Detailed Editing on the Timeline Palette

Shift toward the end, leaving an empty space.

From the Sequence menu, select “Insert Space.” An empty space is inserted in the

selected (red) passage. In this case, the total time of the sequence becomes longer.

The DV-7DL PRO adds an “Insert Space” button. You can use it to insert a space in

a single step.
