Creating Titles

You can use the grid as a reference for moving text and shapes arranged in the

Titler’s Preview window. You can show or hide the grid at the click of a button.

You can change the spacing (pitch) and color of the grid. For more information, refer

Changing the Settings for the Titler

(p. 216)

Moving Text and Shapes Using the Arrow Keys

Holding down the “Alt” key on the keyboard and pressing an arrow key moves the

object one grid unit.

You can display a guide (reference lines) in the Preview window and use this guide

as a reference for laying out text and shapes.

You can also lay out text and shapes according to the guide lines by clicking the

Align button.

You can display the guide lines by clicking the Guide button. You can display the

vertical and horizontal guide lines separately.

Clicking the Guide button a second time hides the guide lines.

You can change the spacing of the guide lines. For more information, refer to "Changing the

Settings for the Titler" (
