Creating Titles

Pictures are graphics and icons for embellishing titles. You can change the size and

location of pictures in any way you like when you place them. You can combine a

rich variety of pictures to embellish your titles. The Titler for the DV-7DL PRO can

work with the types of pictures described below.

Built-in Pictures

The DV-7DL PRO comes with a variety of pictures, including arrows and balls. Refer

to “Using Built-in Pictures” elsewhere in this chapter.

Pictures Captured from CD-ROM, Etc.

You can use pictures contained in CDs and other media. Refer to “Capturing

External Title Material” elsewhere in this chapter.

Pictures Created from Video Material

With the DV-7DL PRO, you can create picture material from video material. Refer to

“Creating Pictures from Video Material” elsewhere in this chapter.

Let’s use the built-in picture material in the DV-7DL PRO unit.

Display the Titler.

Line up the position bar with the location where you want to place the title, then click

the “Titler” button. The Titler appears.

Enter the picture drawing mode.

Click the Draw Picture button. The button turns green.
