Performing Detailed Editing on the Timeline Palette

When you are using a number of effects in combination, or when the Timeline

Palette is full of material, you can compress a specific portion of the Timeline Palette

into a single clip in the Material palette.

Decide on the range within the sequence to group together into a single piece

of material.

Set an In point and an Out point in the sequence. The range from the In point to the

Out point is the area to be grouped into a single piece of video material.

Select “

Scenemaking.”

From the Sequence menu, select “Scenemaking.” A window for grouping into a

single piece of video material is displayed.
