Capturing Audio Material

Start capture.

Click the “Capture” button.

The “REC” indicator lights up red. For narration, start speaking. For an audio device,

start playback.

Stop capture.

When you’re finished, click the “Stop Capture” button.

Captured audio is saved as audio material on the Audio Palette (

p. 120

). You can check and

verify captured audio material on the Audio Palette.

Close the capture screen.

Click the “Close” button. The capture screen disappears and the previous editing

screen returns.
