Capturing Video Material

Stop capture.

When the video you want to capture ends, click the “Capture Stop” button. The

capture counter stops. Now you can stop the playback deck.

Captured material appears in the Material window, in the location after any selected

material.

If capture isn't stopped, unrecorded portions of the videotape may be captured as video

material, wasting space on the hard disk.

Close the capture screen.

Click the "Close" button to close the screen for capturing. The captured material

automatically appears in the Material window, where it is saved.

If playback of the digital videotape continues on to an

unrecorded portion

If playback of the digital videotape continues on to an unrecorded portion, capture

quits automatically, but the "Record" button remains activated. If the playback of the

digital videotape then continues on to a re-recorded portion, capture restarts

automatically. When this happens the unrecorded portion is not captured.
