Creating Titles

The DV-7DL PRO lets you draw shapes that you can use as a matte (cushion) for

titles. With the standard DV-7DL PRO these shapes are limited to rectangles but the

DV-7DL PRO makes it possible to a draw wide range of shapes, including trapezoids

and ellipses.

Click the Shape Drawing button.

Click the “Draw Figure” button, which is the button with the symbol of a rectangle.

Choose the type of shape.

Go to the upper right of the Titler and find the down-pointing triangle to the right of

“Type.” Clicking this displays a list of shapes. Choose the type of shape.

Draw the shape in the Preview window.

In the Preview window, drag the mouse from the upper left to the lower right. The

shape appears.
