Image position adjustment of the primary scanning direction
<Procedure>
(1)
While pressing [0] and [5] simultaneously, turn the power ON.

(Adjustment Mode)
(2)
Place a ruler on the original glass with its leading edge pushed against the rear side and its side
along the original scale on the left.
(3)
Press [FAX] to make a copy at the mode of A3 (LD), 100% and standard drawer of the equipment
(Refer to *).
*Perform 08-477 and check the value.
If the value is 0, use the lower drawer.
If the value is 1, use the upper drawer.
(4)
Measure the distance B from the left edge of the paper to 10 mm of the copied image of the ruler.
(5)
Check if the distance B is within the range of 10±0.5 mm.
(6)
If not, use the following procedure to change values and repeat the steps (3) to (5) above.

(Key in a value (acceptable values: 0 to 255))

Press the [ENTER] or the [INTERRUPT] button (stored in memory).

(“100% A” is displayed.)
*The smaller the adjustment value is, the more the image is shifted to the left and the distance B
becomes narrower (0.085 mm/step).
