Insurance cover on company
premises
In many cases, company premises are restric-
ted public traffic areas.
NOTE
The business liability insurance should be re-
viewed to ensure that, in the event of any
damage caused in restricted public traffic
areas, there is insurance cover for the truck
in respect of third parties.
Special notes for using lithium-
ion batteries
The following special features apply for the
operating company and drivers when this
truck is equipped with a lithium-ion battery
(variant) in place of a conventional lead-acid
battery.
DANGER
Risk of explosion!
Heating to over 80°C, mechanical stress
and incorrect use may lead to the battery
exploding.

Never heat the battery to over 80°C or ex-
pose it to naked flames.

Do not subject the battery to excessive me-
chanical loads.

Do not climb on the battery.
–
Avoid impacts.
–
Do not open the battery.
–
Never short-circuit the battery connectors.
–
Do not connect the battery with the polarity
reversed.
