NOTE
To ensure maximum battery life, always
charge lead-acid batteries fully. For intermedi-
ate charging during work breaks, use an elec-
trolyte circulation pump (variant). Lithium-ion
batteries may be charged intermediately as
often as required with no restriction to the bat-
tery life.

Park the truck securely on a flat surface
near the battery charger.
Four operating situations are possible for
charging with charging quick-access:
1
Lead-acid battery with truck switched off
2 Lead-acid battery with truck switched on
3 Lithium-ion battery with truck switched off
4 Lithium-ion battery with truck switched on
Opening the lid

Gently press in the lid (2) and release it.
The lid (2) is partially opened by a spring.

Then open the lid (2) completely by hand
and hold it.
The lid (2) is secured against unintentional
opening by a spring.
Closing the lid
When the charging cable is disconnected
from the charging quick-access (1), the lid (2)
closes automatically by spring pull.
NOTE
The lid is monitored by a sensor. If the lid
is not completely closed, the truck cannot be
switched on again.

off

Connect the charging cable to the charging
quick-access (1).
Battery charging takes place. The display-op-
erating unit shows nothing.
