Error Logs

11-4-6 Reading and Clearing Error Log Tables
The error log table can be read or cleared by sending FINS commands to the
Serial Communications Board or Serial Communications Unit. Refer to
the
CS/CJ-series Communications Command Reference Manual
(W342) for
details on FINS commands.
Set the send destination unit address for the FINS commands to the unit num-
ber of the Serial Communications Board or Serial Communications Unit, as
follows:
Serial Communications Board: E1 hexadecimal
Serial Communications Unit:
10 hexad unit number

Reads the following data for the Serial Communications Board or Serial Com-
munications Unit.
• Serial Communications Board or Unit Model
• Serial Communications Board or Unit Ver.

Model, Version (Response)
The Serial Communications Board or Serial Communications Unit model and
version are specified in the response each as ASCII data up to 20 bytes max.
If the data is less than 20 bytes, the remaining bytes will be expressed as 20
hexadecimal (space).
