Entering alphabet characters

Switch the entry mode to “Upper case” or “Lower case” (page 1-31).

Enter the alphabet character using the numeric keys.

Switch the entry mode to “Number” (page 1-31).

Entering symbols
When you press the <*> key while entering characters, the entry mode switches
to the symbol entry screen.
