Delayed Transmission
This function enables you to set the time and date for transmission. It will help
you to save money if you send faxes early in the morning, late at night, or any
other time when phone charges are lower.
• You can specify a time and date up to a month ahead. The document for the
delayed transmission is stored in memory, and the transmission starts at the
specified time.
• You can also specify this function combined with other functions (broadcast,
polling, F-code transmission, F-code polling, fax & copy).

Load your document and press <Fax>.
For details on how to load documents, refer to “Loading Documents”
(page 1-59).

Set the resolution and contrast as necessary.
For the setting procedure, refer to “Setting the resolution/contrast” (page
3-13).

Enter the destination fax number.
For details on entering the number, refer to “Basic transmission” (page
3-5).

Press <Menu>.

Select “Delayed Tx” using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

Enter the transmission date and time using the numeric keys and
press [Enter].

You can enter the number using the upper and lower of cursor keys.
Use the 24-hour clock to enter the time.

Press [Close] to return to the standby screen.
