Auto receiving with priority given to the phone
(Tel/Fax Mode)
• Set the fax reception mode to the “Tel/Fax Mode” in the user install setting
(page 1-38).
• If the phone rings two or more times, the fax enters reception mode. Therefore,
the calling party will be charged even if you are absent and cannot receive the
call.
• To receive a phone call, you need to connect the telephone to this machine.
When the other party transmits a fax

The machine rings.

Start the reception.
NOTE
• To make the machine ring, you need to set the fax ringer (page 8-36).
• You can change the number of ringer from 0 to 10 times (page 8-17).

