Blocking Junk Faxes
You can block junk faxes in a number of ways: receiving faxes only from the
numbers registered in the speed dial, and rejecting faxes from your registered
numbers.
• To block junk faxes, you can select from these three modes:
Mode 1:
This mode blocks receptions from destinations not registered in the speed dial.
The machine compares the lower 4 digits of the registered fax number with
the destination machine ID and, only if they are matched, receives the faxes.
Mode 2:
This mode blocks receptions from destinations you have registered. Register
the lower 4 digits of the destination fax number. Up to 50 destinations can be
entered.
Mode 3:
This mode combines Mode 1 and Mode 2. The machine blocks faxes from any
destinations not registered in the speed dial. Even if the destinations are
registered in the speed dial, however, the machine blocks the reception from
the destinations you registered in the number list.
OFF
This does not block junk faxes.
