Interrupt copy
You can interrupt a job currently in progress to copy other documents.
NOTE
• The interrupt copy function is available while scanning the copy documents or
printing the copies.
• You cannot interrupt when using the advanced copy functions or setting the
devices.
• You cannot interrupt during fax transmission or reception.
• During the interrupt mode, <Interrupt> illuminates.

Press <Interrupt>.
<Interrupt> illuminates, and the job currently in progress is
interrupted.
NOTE
• When you interrupt while scanning the documents, remove said documents.
• When you were scanning the documents using the ADF, press <Stop> to output the
documents.

Load the documents you want to interrupt and copy. Then set other
copy functions as necessary.
NOTE
To cancel the interrupt mode, press <Interrupt>.

Press <Start> to start the interrupt copy.

When the interrupt copy ends, remove the documents and press
<Interrupt>.
<Interrupt> turns off.
IMPORTANT
When the interrupt copy ends, press <Interrupt> to get out of interrupt mode. The
interrupt mode cannot be automatically shut off.
NOTE
• When you interrupt while scanning documents, following the screen message, load
the documents before you interrupt and press [Scan Nextpage]. Press [Scanning
End] to copy only the scanned documents.
• A suspended print job restarts when the interrupt copy ends.
