F-code relay command communications
When an F-code relay box is set in a relay machine, specifying the sub-
address of that box can allow relay command communications to be
performed (Password specified as necessary).
On the relay machine, the specified document is transmitted to the receiving
party (destination) registered in the box.
• For relay command communications
........... Check the sub-address or password for the relay command communication
box set in the other fax machine before the F-code transmission (page 4-29).
• When this machine becomes a relay machine
...........Set a relay box in “Registering an F-code box” (page 4-18).
Registering an F-code box
Register an F-code box to utilize F-code communications. Enter a sub-address
and password in each F-code box.
Be sure to enter a sub-address. Enter a password as necessary.
Setting an I.D. code prevents anyone other than the specified person(s) from
operating the F-code boxes.

Press <Menu>, <5>, <0>, <7>, [Enter].

Select “Edit Destination” and press [Enter].

Select the F-code box you want to register using the cursor keys and
press [Enter].

Select the F-code box type.

Refer to pages 4-19 through 4-27 to register the F-code box per type.
NOTE
• You can protect the registration or deletion of F-code boxes (page 6-21).
• To change the entered information in F-code boxes, delete information you want to
change in the registration steps, and enter again.
• To change the box type, delete the F-code box you want to change (page 4-28), and
enter again.

