Scan Size
You can set the scan size and transmit the document. This is useful when you
want to send only a part of the document, or specify the document size (sectional
transmission).
• When you transmit using the ADF, the scan size will be specified by the
document width.

• The reference setting position will be
used as the scanning reference.
• Scans only the set width.
• Transmits only the document length that
has been scanned.

Load your document and press <Fax>.
For details on how to load documents, refer to “Loading Documents”
(page 1-59).

Set the resolution and contrast as necessary.
For the setting procedure, refer to “Setting the resolution/contrast” (page
3-13).

Press [ScanSize].

Select the scan size using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

Cancel Enter
Select “Auto” to automatically detect the document size. Only the
document width (A3, B4, A4) can be detected on the ADF.

Enter the destination fax number.
