VERIFY DTC INSPECTION
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Using the M-MDS, perform the
DTC inspection.
z
Are any DTCs other than B1342
and C1730 output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY CURRENT STATUS OF
MALFUNCTION
z
Clear the DTC from the memory.

DIAGNOSTIC [DSC/RSC]

z
Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the DSC/RSC HU/CM, then go to the next
step.

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT NO DTCS ARE
OUTPUT AGAIN
z
Drive the vehicle at 32 km/h or
more.
z
Stop the vehicle and verify the
DTCs.
z
Are DTCs output again?
Yes
If DTC B1342 or C1730 is output again, replace the
DSC/RSC HU/CM.

No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
