VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF
DTC P0462 HAS BEEN COMPLETED

Verify that all disconnected
connectors reconnected.
z
Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.

Perform the "KOEO/KOER self-
test". (See

Is the PENDING CODE for the
DTC present?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See

No
Go to the next step.

Fuel gauge sender unit circuit high input
DETECTION
CONDITION

The PCM monitors the fuel level input communications network message-for a
concern. The test fails if the fuel level input signal is more than the maximum
allowable calibrated parameter for a specified fuel-fill percentage in the fuel
tank.
