Autotune error messages
The following error messages can be displayed by the Support Tool when you attempt to start JETanchor
Autotune. In all cases Autotune engagement is denied until the error is resolved.
Error message Comments
EIM 1 has gone into local control
or
EIM 2 has gone into local control

Autotune cannot start because the indicated propulsion line's
engine is in local control

Ensure that all engines are in remote control before starting
Autotune
EIM 1 has gone into shutdown
or
EIM 2 has gone into shutdown

Autotune cannot start because the indicated propulsion line is
shutting down

Ensure that all propulsion lines are operational and ready
before starting Autotune
Gearboxes are not engaged. Cannot
commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because at least one gearbox is not
engaged

Ensure that all gearboxes are engaged in drive before starting
Autotune
JACM is currently controlling the
vessel. Cannot commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because JETanchor is engaged and in
control of the vessel

Disengage all JETanchor modes (thrust hold mode, virtual
anchor mode, and station keeping mode) before starting
Autotune
JACM orientation is incorrect.
Cannot commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because the JETanchor control module
has not been installed correctly

Check that the JETanchor control module has been mounted
within the specified alignment tolerances ( ► page 4-7)

Check that the correct JACM orientation parameter was entered
when the blue ARROW system was set up (

page 8-57)
JETanchor GPS is acquiring lock.
Cannot commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because the GPS signal is unstable or
weak

Wait for the GPS signal reception to stabilise

Check that the GPS has been mounted within the specified
tolerances, away from obstructions and interference sources
( ► page 4-8)
JETanchor has a control fault.
Cannot commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because there is control fault

Locate and resolve the control fault, then restart the auto tune
procedure
JETanchor has a sensor fault. Cannot
commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because there is sensor fault

Locate and resolve the sensor fault, then restart the auto tune
procedure
JIM 1 is in backup. Cannot
commence Autotune
or
JIM 2 is in backup. Cannot
commence Autotune

Autotune cannot start because the indicated propulsion line is
in backup mode

Ensure that all propulsion lines are in normal mode before
starting Autotune
