Station control panel - advanced set up
Lockable:
This control panel to be lockable, thereby not
allowing other panels to take control.
Do not select this option for vessels with only one
control panel.
Key beeps:
The sounder at this panel will beep when buttons
on the panel are pressed.
Backlight can turn off:
The backlight on this panel will turn off after a
period of inactivity.
Backlight compensation:
The brightness of the backlight automatically
adjusts for changes in the supply voltage.
Do not select this option for vessels which have a
built in voltage booster.
Allow engine sync:
Allows engine synchronization from this panel.
Set the port and starboard engine demands to the
same value by pressing the RPM+ and RPM-buttons
at the same time.
Engine sync margin:
Only used if "allow engine sync" is checked.
The maximum percentage by which the throttle
demands from the main throttle controller can vary
before engine sync is disabled.
Maximum idle engine demand:
Is a percentage of the maximum demand that can
be sent to the engines
Sets the maximum demand signal that can be set
using the RPM+ and RPM- buttons when the vessel
is at zero speed.
e.g.
If this value is set to 100, the RPM+ and RPM-
buttons will be able to set the idle throttle up to
100% of maximum throttle.
If this value is set to 40, the RPM+ and RPM-
buttons will be able to set the idle throttle up to
40% of maximum throttle.
Reverse duct steering assist level:
Set the reverse duct steering assist level for this
station control panel.
